Besides our ResPeer project, we’re planning to translate Linera technique materials to Mandarin then we can introduce Linera to more developers in the Mandarin-speaking region. So we’re interesting in knowing if there will be some grant plan of Linera in future.

We have no immediate plans for a grant program. However, it’s something we can consider for the future!

Out of interest, would a 50/50 match funding grant scheme attract a grant application from you? In this case your team would typically work on your project/vision for free, but you’d get extra professional support to help deliver your app. As your income would be in the future, you’d want customer research that shows your app has every prospect of delivering a sustainable income to both you and your sponsor in future, creating a future win/win.
I think we’re open to any type grant. We have a long term plan about that. A grant can help the ecosystem projects (like ResPeer, 
) growing rapidly. After that, we will continue raising funding for later operation, community building, and production development work.
Even it’s early day of Linera, I think we’d better to support some ecosystem projects which has long term vision, and will be helpful to promote the on-chain transaction when Linera is online.
Ecosystem projects could be blockchain browser, wallet, indexer, development kit, and dApps, etc. Some of this tools will be able to earn money in future, some of them is must for the project but may be not able to profitable. For example, a blockchain browser won’t get any income at the early stage of the project. But I think it’s important to let community developer to join in the ecosystem project development, then core developer can be focus on the core part of Linera software.
